Simply Vicki

This is week two of Meet My Friend Mondays.  Well, for Simply Vicki it is anyways.  This week I want you to meet my friend Cindi.

I first met Cindi on a work at home forum.  She had an eBay store and I soon seemed to find her everywhere I went.  I think she was stalking me, but that is besides the point.  Just a little joke for you on this Monday.

I sent Cindi the little questionaire and she was super-duper quick in responding (thank you, Cindi).

I started blogging primarily to promote my eBay Store, Moomette’s Magnificents.  My blog took on a life of it’s own and it developed into my sharing my experiences and information as a WAHM.   I’ve really grown to enjoy meeting new friends from all over the globe.

Oh that’s so hard ~ I have so many favorites!  Before I branched off and started my personal blog, Mama Mentor, I was also incorporating musings about my family life and the trials and tribulations of being a Wife, Mom, Grandmom and office cubicle dweller.  I then decided I had to bifurcate the blog to focus on the work at home aspect and the personal aspect.

My favorite part of blogging is the exchanging of ideas and sharing knowledge with others.  Lets face it, after 50+ years on this planet, I can share many of my experiences in life!  Isn’t hindsight wonderful?  My professional career has always entailed research.  At one point in my life I wanted to get my Masters in Library Sciences, but there was only Southern Connecticut State University offered that degree, and the timing in my life was such, with young children, that the time commitment would have been too hard on my family.  So, you could call me a “Frustrated Librarian” thus blogging allows me to still help people.

I’m an Earth person, and being from New England, Fall is my favorite season.  I like the warmth of browns, mochas, ecru and earth shades.

I’m a creature of habit, and I enjoy good old fashioned comfort food.  I love my eggs poached, over toast (yoke runny, please).
